United Community Opposition
This intrusive development is an example of a broken municipal planning process (see report by expert planner, Pat Maloney, MCIP).
Area residents are stunned at the extents they must go to defend the quiet enjoyment of their property. Even more importantly they are indignant about this destruction of a unique and important watershed and wildlife habitat (see report by Cliff Wallis, PBio.). The community has united overwhelmingly to protect the river valley. A racetrack is not appropriate at this location. Surely many motorsports enthusiasts will also oppose a racetrack forced into a location that is environmentally fragile and into a community united in opposition.
